Well, so I went to a speedcubing competition (mostly because the competition was in the city I am living).

Speedcubing competition sign on a brick wall

As a hobby speedcuber this was the perfect excuse to buy myself better (and more expensive) cubes to train with and perform!

Solving in competition feels very different from solving at home. The cube is the same, but the timer, the judge, and the room make it feel a lot more… distracting and unconcentrated.

Anyway, here are my solving times. I am quite happy that I didn’t f*ck up. So no DNFs for me.

The result I am most proud of is the 5x5 sub-2 minute solve, which puts me inside the top 500 solvers in Germany for 5x5 💪.
